In August of 2018, we will be travelling to Mully Children’s Family in Kenya to set up a free clinic for the surrounding community.
We did this back in 2010, and it was an amazing success. We were able to give medical care to hundreds of people who wouldn’t have had access to it otherwise–some walking with small children for kilometers on end to reach the clinic.

We are thrilled to be able to provide this service again, and are excited to be working with the excellent Kenyan staff that is already present.
We won’t just be setting up a clinic, however–we have non-medical programs, too!
Since we first introduced knitting to MCF in 2006, it has been a huge hit every time we go over. So we’re doing it again! It’s fun, and gives these kids and the women at MCF a great hobby!
The non-medical members of the team will be helping with a variety of tasks. One will be taking a photo of every single child at MCF so that they all have a picture for themselves. We will be coordinating some dance classes for the kids (where we both teach and are taught!), joining in with a variety of activities to help with child care for the younger kids, and repairing clothes for the kids at MCF.
