Support the 2024 Medical Mission Team

The MCF Canada Medical Mission Team organizes and implements a free medical camp in rural Kenya. This camp provides free medical services for thousands of community members who do not have access to quality or affordable treatment. The medical team partners with MCF Kenya to meet the needs of the Kenyan people and MCF.

On August 17th, 2024 a group of 3 medical doctors, 2 dentists, 1 dental assistant, 2 nurses, 3 pharmacists and 1 pharmacist assistant along with 23 support team members will embark on this incredible journey.

During their time, they will set up a 4-5 day medical clinic and provide treatment for thousands of vulnerable people.

This year the Medical Team has chosen the name “Mwanga”. This means light in Swahili. Our mission is to spread light and provide medical care to the Kenyan community especially after the devastating flood.

We need your help to make this medical camp a success!

Your donation will help Team Mwanga carry out this meaningful work.

Your donation will go toward:

  • Purchasing vital medication, lab supplies, personal protective equipment and additional medical supplies for the doctors to treat patients
  • Purchasing specific dental equipment to preform much needed extractions
  • Hiring local doctors & dentists in Kenya to support the Canadian team
  • Provide a hot lunch for all patients, many of whom travel for hours to receive free medical attention
  • Cover the cost for follow-up medical procedures that cannot be addressed by the team
