Allison Belt
Allison first became acquainted with Mully Children’s Family in 2009 when the acrobatics team and choir visited the school where she taught in Calgary, Alberta. This initial connection led to a high school student discovery trip to Kenya in 2011 followed by involvement with the western leg of the 2016 choir tour and a second trip to MCF in 2019 with her husband, Kerry.
After spending more than two decades as a science teacher, Allison transitioned into administrative leadership roles in 2012. After an extremely fulfilling education career, Allison is excited to launch her next chapter (not retirement!) co-leading a trip to Kenya in July. She is eager to provide the opportunity for others to experience first hand the transformative work of MCF.
She can’t wait to meet you!

Tammy Yuen
Tammy Yuen is a neurologist specializing in child neurology, clinical neurophysiology and intractable neonatal and pediatric epilepsy. She has dedicated her career to help children reach their full potential, to support their caretakers, and to improve the entire family's quality of life. In addition to her private practice, she also helped to build a pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit at a children's hospital in Los Angeles.
Most of Tammy's professional career has focussed on helping patients with their physical health and cognitive abilities, on optimizing brain and body. The MCF Discovery Mission is an opportunity to learn how to address spiritual and emotional needs as well. At MCF Kenya, she will witness how God's healing shapes hearts and minds, and how this spiritual gateway empowers children to thrive in body and soul. Tammy is excited to offer her enthusiasm, knowledge and creativity to serve the needs of the mission and would be grateful for support as she steps out in faith to explore how to be a blessing to children in a new way.
