Mully Children’s Family 2027 Dental Team Overview
Travel Dates: MARCH 13-28, 2027
Have you considered whether God is inviting you to step out in faith and serve around the globe? Join Mully Children’s Family in Kenya as we implement a free dental camp for numerous community members lacking access to quality or affordable health care. This dental-focused mission provides hands-on experience, meaningful interactions, and long-lasting impact on the community.
What You'll be Part of:
Serving at the Dental Camp and Providing Support
During your time in Kenya, you will be part of a multi-day dental camp. This camp will focus on providing dental treatment to the MCF children and community members. The clinic will have sub-teams to help the camp run smoothing, including triage, dental, sterilization, pharmacy and community outreach. Whether you are assisting with patient intake, providing medical care, or helping to organize supplies, your involvement is crucial to the success of the clinic. Each day, you will witness firsthand the profound impact of accessible healthcare on the lives of those who attend.
Community Outreach
This experience is not only about providing medical services, but also about spreading the gospel through the act of serving, building community relations and understanding the unique challenges faced by the Kenyan communities we serve. Your compassion and dedication will leave a lasting impression, offering hope and healing to those in need.
Building Relationships with the MCF Children
Meet the MCF children who have been rescued and listen to their inspiring stories of transformation firsthand! Join them in their classrooms, during their devotionals, while making crafts and even on the soccer field! Their laughter and singing brings so much warmth and joy.
Learn About & Experience the MCF Campuses
Travel to various campuses across Kenya such as Yatta and Ndalani. The MCF guesthouse is located in Ndalani. This is where the team will stay while at MCF and where the dental camp will take place. You will witness the growth of God’s work through MCF’s programs aimed at mentorship, education, vocational training programs, and much more. Experience vibrant Kenyan culture and breathtaking landscape!
Serving as a Team
As a team, you may begin as strangers yet will grow closer through your shared experiences! This journey is truly unique, as team members develop deep connections along the way.
Each day presents opportunities for personal growth, spiritual renewal, and meaningful interactions with one another. Remember to be FHATT—Flexible, Humble, Adaptable, Teachable, and a Team Player. Every individual brings unique skills, personalities, and gifts that contribute to the team's wholeness—everyone is essential, and everyone has a place!
Growing in Faith
During this journey, we also hope you grow in your walk with God. Your willingness to serve is a big step. We encourage you to reflect on how God is guiding and teaching you — through the trip preparations, during your time at MCF, and after the trip. Through prayer, devotionals, and an open heart, we pray this experience will grow your personal relationship with Jesus. Often, teams embark on these trips to help others, only to be amazed by the blessings they receive in return!
Questions to keep in mind: How is God guiding you in this moment? What are you hoping to witness or anticipate in your faith journey? What are my expectations, and what is God's will for me?

Why Dental?
Access to dental care is limited for many people in the communities surrounding MCF. Dental professionals can make an immediate difference by providing treatment for patients who may otherwise have little or no access to care.
Our goal is to work alongside MCF's Kenyan medical and dental professionals, strengthening and expanding the work already taking place.
Dental care may include:
- Dental examinations and assessment
- Tooth extractions
- Treatment of dental infections
- Preventive dental care
- Dental hygiene and oral-health education
- Supporting and equipping MCF's ongoing dental ministry
Just as importantly, we hope to listen and learn from the Kenyan professionals who understand their communities and patients best.
Not a Dentist? You Can Still Come!
A successful medical and dental mission requires much more than medical professionals. There will be opportunities to assist with:
- Patient registration and intake
- Organizing equipment and supplies
- Clinic logistics and patient flow
- Children's activities
- Community outreach
- Photography and documentation
- Prayer and encouragement
- Supporting the dental and medical teams wherever needed
Perhaps most importantly, you will have the opportunity to build relationships, listen, learn and experience MCF firsthand. A willing heart, flexibility and a desire to serve are incredibly valuable.
Cost & Fundraising
ANTICIPATED PERSONAL TRIP COST $6,500 CAD per person
This is expected to include airfare, accommodation, all meals and ground transportation in Kenya. The optional safari will be an additional personal expense and is not tax deductible.
Team members will also participate in fundraising to help cover the costs of operating the dental clinic, including dental and medical supplies, equipment and other needs identified in partnership with MCF. Final costs and fundraising expectations will be confirmed as planning progresses.
